The smooth plinth, also known as straight plinth, is one of the most sold models. This is because the smooth plinth comes into its own in any interior. The smooth skirting board has a small radius of 2 mm at the front. This ensures that the skirting board is not ‘sharp’ and that the paint layers adhere well.
The variants with a thickness of 6 and 9 mm have a small chamfer at the back for tight placement in corners. Make sure that the thin skirting board can sufficiently bridge the seam between floor and wall, otherwise it is safe to choose a thicker skirting board.
All skirting boards from 12 mm thick have a cable duct. This is large enough to process one flexible cable behind. Multiple cables can be placed behind skirting boards with a thickness of 15mm or 18mm.
If you need more space, you can order skirting boards. For skirting boards, you specify the desired cut-out yourself.
For an optimal result, we always recommend sanding our primed products first, then painting and then repeating this process.
